HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Gunnery Sgt. Daniel J Price 27, died in combat in Afghanistan on July of 2012. A Marine and Holland native will now be commerated at the city’s veterans monument. The measure was easily passed by the Holland City Council.
The Holland Veterans Council will help place the plaque at the city’s veterans monument.
Price enlisted in the US Marine Corp while still in high school and entered a month after graduation. He served three tours in Afghanistan and three in Iraq.
Price received a purple heart, bronze star, a navy and marine achievement medal,combat action ribbons and three good conduct medals.
