West Olive, MI (WHTC) – Want to learn more about zoning? The Ottawa County Planning Commission announced that a zoning board of appeals basic training seminar will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m on this Wednesday, February 25 at Ottawa County Fillmore Street Complex in West Olive. The training session is open to anyone who is interested. Attorneys Ronald A. Bultje and Rodney L. Schermer from the law firm Scholten Fant. will provide instruction on the roles of the zoning board of appeals, rationale behind zoning ordinances, and other procedures and protocols. The class is eligible for three continuing education credit hours toward the Michigan State University Extension Master Citizen Planner Program and is free to attend.
