-HOLLAND, MI (WHTC)-Michican has the higest rates of unvaccinated children compared to the national average. Despite this recent finding, Allegan and Ottawa County stand out for their strong vaccination rates. Health officials say that’s due to their 23 year old policy that Michigan has just adopted statewide.
Children entering kindergarten either need to be fully vaccinated or obtain paperwork waiving them of the vaccination requirements.
