Spring Lake Woman Injured in Crash Near Marne

TALLMADGE TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 47-year-old Spring Lake woman was hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash north of Marne this morning. Deputies say that Lisa Peterson had overshot where she wanted to turn her SUV left from Ironwood Drive to 8^th Avenue, went back and then proceeded to drive under a semi’s trailer heading in the opposite direction. She was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital in serious condition; the trucker, a 28-year-old Grand Rapids man, was not hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
