HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – OMT-Vehyl USA announced a 98 thousand square-foot, 8.8 million-dollar expansion that would nearly double the size of its James Street facility on Holland’s North Side. Persuaded in part by a 750 thousand-dollar grant from the state Strategic Fund to choose Michigan over another plant in California, the German-based furniture parts builder has pledged to hire 206 new workers. Holland Township Trustees are also considering issuing a tax abatement in conjunction with the expansion.
