OTSEGO, MI (WHTC) – An employee of the city of Otsego died in a crash Thursday afternoon. Pamela Knowlton was killed when she was struck by a semi in downtown Otsego.
The 56-year-old was walking across the street at M-89 and North Farmer Street yesterday afternoon when she was hit by the truck as it was turning to go east on the highway. She was pronounced dead at the scene and police say she was killed instantly.
Both westbound and eastbound lanes of M-89 were closed at the intersection of Farmer Street for the investigation.
