DETROIT, MI (WHTC) – The Ottawa Area Intermediate School District will need to find a new superintendent after Governor Snyder appointed Karen McPhee as his new education policy adviser. She takes over her new duties next month, although she was with Mr. Snyder when he made the announcement at his education and economic summits in Detroit today. McPhee replaces Craig Ruff, who had retired at the end of 2014. She was at her administrative post in West Olive for 11 years and had worked for OAISD for over three decades.
