HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Volunteers in Police Services program is going strong.
VIPS are volunteers from all walks of life who lend a hand to the Holland Department of Public Safety. They help foster a relationship between the police department and the public, while lending a hand in a number of ways.
You may see them on general patrols, parking enforcement, community events and even vacation home and park checks.
The program started a year ago and the community as well as officials have benefited from the many volunteers who help.
