HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The annual Holland Department of Public Safety Report for 2014 is now available for inspection through the Tulip City’s website at city of Holland-dot-com. Among the highlights: Incidents and calls for police service are at a 10-year low; total police incidents were down by 4.2 percent, with serious and violent crimes down 7.1 percent from 2013; fire service calls rose by 12.3 percent; and efforts to improve fire service training and to develop a fire station improvement plan are underway.
