JENISON, MI (WHTC) – A Jenison house that had been the scene of a fatal fire more than three years ago went up in flames again today. Crews were able to pull 79-year-old Richard Hallwachs out of the residence off of Teakwood Drive, near Jenison High School in the Bauer Road/20th Avenue vicinity,and he is at Spectrum-Butterworth but his condition is unknown. The home is a total loss; no cause of the fire was immediately determined. Hallwachs’ wife and son died when fire struck the same home in December, 2011.
