Fire Strikes Wayland Farm/Trucking Business

WAYLAND, MI (WHTC) – An overnight fire at a farm and trucking business near Wayland destroyed a large barn, but resulted in no injuries to crews from six departments who responded. The blaze at the Jablonski Farming Services site off of 135^th Avenue and 16^th Street fully engulfed the structure when firefighters arrived shortly after 3 AM. Several pieces of equipment inside were “badly” damaged, but a cause and an damage estimate weren’t immediately determined.
