WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County Parks Director John Scholtz told County Commissioners that his department will consider banning drones at county parks after a Muskegon resident pointed out an apparent loophole in current park rules. No action is expected until later this summer. John Nanzer is also petitioning his own county for a ban, claiming a noise nuisance. Scholtz also presented a proposed new sign for Hager Park after a religious sign there was taken down last year; the board tentatively OK’d it.
