HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – An arrest has been made in the March 2nd baseball bat beating of a Holland Township man during an apparent drug deal made through Craig’s List. Sheriff’s deputies apprehended without incident 17-year-old Valdemar Beltran III, who was staying with his girlfriend at her home near Waverly Meadows, about three miles away from the victim’s house off of 136th Avenue and Greenly Street. Beltran was arraigned on Friday and is reportedly cooperating with investigators while a second suspect (early 20’s, Hispanic, 5-0, 115 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes) remains at large.
