HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Work on rebuilding Central Avenue in Holland begins today with the closure of the road to through traffic between its northern origin at 3rd Street to 6th Street. This is to accommodate the placing of new sewer lines underneath the CSX rail spur tracks that go to both the Padnos and the Heinz plants. When completed in mid-October, the roadway through State Street will be rebuilt and new sidewalk cutouts will be made, with snowmelt expansion planned between 7th and 12th Streets.
