MONTCALM TWP, MI (WHTC) – A Greenville man who was critically injured as he drove a horse and buggy in Montcalm Township has died, police say. Montcalm sheriff’s department investigators issued a statement that Andrew Miller, 27, died Wednesday night.
Investigators say the horse tack may have been incorrectly connected, causing the horse to veer into the path of a pickup truck as Miller tried to stop the buggy.
Miller was flown by Aeromed to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. The pickup driver, Del Ray Christensen, 54 of Greenville, was not injured.
