HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – On its fourth try, the Greater Ottawa County United Way finally crossed the 2.3 million-dollar threshold in reaching its goal for the annual fundraising drive. A late kick enabled the agency to collect 2.31 million through about 300 workplace campaigns and over nine thousand employees contributing. Volunteer goals were also met with over eight thousand offering their services over 128 thousand hours with a value of 2.8 million dollars to the community.
