ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – A Zeeland man is in critical condition after a 1-car crash in Blendon Township. Aaron Hoeve, 23, of Zeeland was transported by Aeromed to Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus early Saturday morning.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, the driver was southbound on 96th Avenue and swerved to miss a deer stricking a culvert south of Stanton road.
The driver was arrested and his name is pending arraignment on the charge of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury .He suffered no injuries.
