ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – Two women were sent to area hospitals folowwing a two car crash. Yesterday afternoon Andrea Kole 30, of Hudsonville was traveling East on business I-196 when she ran a red light at Homestead Drive. Kole hit a vehicle driven by Sarah Ahrens 19, of Sparta who was southbound crossing the intersection on a green light.
According to Ottawa County Sheriffs both vehicles went into a ditch.
Kole was transported to Holland hospital while Ahrens was transported to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.
Both remain in stable condition.
