HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Applications for the 2015 Lakeshore ATHENA Scholarship Program are now being accepted at the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. The Lakeshore ATHENA Scholarship Program is designed assist women in reaching their full potential through financial support for training programs and education. Women 30 years or older who live or work in Ottawa, Allegan or Muskegon County may apply.
Not only can the scholarship money be used for education but also for other expenses such as childcare, housing or transportation. Applications are now being accepted and must be postmarked by May 15, 2015.
The scholarships are offered through the Lakeshore ATHENA Awards Program, a collaboration of the Chamber of Grand Haven, Spring Lake and Ferrysburg, Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce and the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of commerce.
