OTSEGO, MI (WHTC) – Allegan County Sheriff’s Deputies believe that speed was a factor in a crash that killed a 44-year-old Plainwell man last night. Robert Webb was westbound on 106th Avenue near the water treatment plant north of Otsego when he lost control of his SUV after coming over a hill. The Jeep rolled over at least once, throwing the driver about 30 feet away, before it landed on its side. Webb died at Borgess Hospital from his injuries. There were no signs of alcohol being involved in the crash.
