MUSKEGON, MI ( WHTC) – Strong storms caused damage in downtown Muskegon just before midnight last night.
The roof of a longtime storage building for L.C. Walker Arena at the corner of Shoreline and Fourth Street was ripped off the structure and debris knocked over street signs.
A lightening bolt struck a home in Muskegon Township and left a huge hole on the side of the home. No one was injured.
Power has been restored to the downtown and Shoreline Drive is now open.
