ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – The grand opening of Zeeland Township’s new public safety building is scheduled for next Saturday, April 18. The building is located at 6522 Byron Road and cost roughly $2.4 million. The 14,000 square foot building will house the Zeeland Township Fire Department and an office for Ottawa County Sheriff Deputy Ryan Huizenga. The grand opening will be next Saturday from 2-5 pm and will include a tour of the facility, equipment demonstrations, and refreshments.
