HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Western Theological Seminary is losing its Vice President for Academic Affairs. Leanne Van Dyk is leaving the Holland school at the end of the 2015 Academic Year to become the new President of Columbia Theological Seminary, a 350-student school in Decatur, Georgia, an Atlanta suburb. She replaces Stephen Hayner, who died in January. Dr. Van Dyk has been in her current position for nine years after joining Western in 1998 as a faculty member. The search for her successor has begun.
