HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – On this final day of exams at Hope College, three professors with a total of 126 years of service to the Holland school are retiring. Dr. John Cox of the English department, Dr. Jack Holmes of the Political Science department and Dr. John Shaughnessy of the Psychology department have earned many honors during their time at Hope. While undergraduates are clearing out dorm rooms for the summer, more than 700 seniors are awaiting Sunday’s Baccalaureate in Dimnent Memorial Chapel and 150th Commencement at Ray & Sue Smith Stadium.
