HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Hope College plans to send off its students into the real world at the 150th commencement tomorrow at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium. Baccalaureate will also be held that day at 9:30 am and 11:30 am in Dimnent Memorial Chapel. Commencement takes place later that day at 3 p.m. Speaking at commencement this year is Tim Schoonveld, Assistant Professor of Kinesiology and Co-Director of Athletics at Hope. The Baccalaureate sermon will be given by Gerald Pillay, the Vice Chancellor and Rector of Liverpool Hope University in England. In the event of rain, Commencement will be held at Richard and Helen DeVos Fieldhouse. Admission to Baccalaureate and Commencement, if indoors, requires tickets.
