WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC) – Two local school superintendents are among the four finalists for the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District superintendent’s post that Karen McPhee left after 11 years on April 1 to become Governor Snyder’s senior education policy adviser. Brian Davis, dean of Lakeshore school chiefs as Holland’s boss since 2008, along with Hamilton’s Dave Tebo, who took over there four years ago, will join Greenville’s Peter Haines and OAISD Assistant Superintendent Kyle Mayer in public interviews next Thursday afternoon at the Educational Services Building. Two finalists should emerge for a final interview session on May 19th, with a decision possible during the board’s monthly meeting two days later. The new leader is expected to assume duties on July 1st. Julie Gillespie is currently the interim superintendent.
