HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Competition for the Tulip City Truck Stop off of M-40 near the I-196 interchange moved a step closer to reality. The Holland Planning Commission recommended City Council approval of building a 12-thousand-700 square foot Pilot truck stop and travel center near where the long-time truck stop is currently located. The new facility would be accessed through a newly designed intersection at Interchange Drive that M-Dot is already planning to deal with traffic safety issues in that area.
