LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Two schools in the Ottawa-Allegan county area received Bronze awards from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services in the Michigan Health and Wellness Four by Four Plan. Allendale Middle School and Pullman Elementary School were among 24 honored overall, involving more than 10 thousand students, for their efforts in promoting healthy lifestyles and combating childhood obesity. Award winners were recognized at a special state Capitol ceremony in Lansing.
