TALLMADGE TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 60-year-old Grand Rapids man is expected to recover from an injury suffered in a farming accident this morning west of Standale. Vincente Ramirez-Mendoza was trying to attach a bungee cord to a trailer that was attached to a tractor on land off of Lincoln Street near 3rd Avenue around 8 AM when the driver of the tractor moved the vehicle forward, knocking the victim down. The trailer then ran over Ramirez-Mendoza’s right leg. He was taken to a Grand Rapids hospital. The driver wasn’t hurt.
