HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Personnel from all three of the Holland Public Safety fire stations responded to a house blaze around 8:30 AM this morning. Heavy smoke was coming out from the attic of the two-story residence off of East 16th Street between College and Columbia avenues, putting out flames that had begun in an upper bedroom. It took about 15 minutes to bring the blaze under control. The residents inside escaped safely and no firefighters were reported hurt. A cause and a damage estimate are pending.
