GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – From seven to 15 years in prison was the sentence handed down today by Ottawa County Circuit Court Judge Jon Hulsing to Heather Luke, the 33-year-old Nunica woman who didn’t contest drunken driving causing death and vehicular manslaughter charges in last July’s fatal crash on I-96 near Marne. Deputies say that Luke’s blood alcohol count was more than three times the legal limit when her wrong-way SUV slammed head on at full speed into William Foster’s minivan, killing him instantly.
