HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – One of the world’s longest-running musicals will make its debut this week at Hope’s Summer Repertory Theatre.
Les Miserables will kick off it’s three week run on June 11th in the Dewitt Main Theatre. Set in post-revolutionary France, “Les Miserable” follows the story of the recently released prisoner Jean Valjean. When he breaks his parole, he finds himself pursued by the relentless Inspector Javert. Valjean escapes making a new name for himself and takes a vow to raise a young girl, Cosette, as his own.
Director David Colacci is in his 30th season with Hope summer Repertory Theatre and his 24th as Artistic Director with Hope’s Summer Repertory Theatre.
