HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A fire on Holland’s North side that started around 5 a.m. yesterday has destroyed three businesses. Over 10 fire departments responded to the scene at a building in Olive Township that housed Trin Polymer, Holland Pallets and Magnum located on Barry Street just off U.S. 31 between Van Buren and New Holland Streets.
The heavy fire response was due to the need for tankers to truck in water to the scene.
The building was evacuated and there are no reported injuries of anyone employed in the building. The smoke is still billowing and earlier could be seen as far as Allendale.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
