PARK TWP, MI (WHTC) – A two vehicle crash involving a Holland teen has sent a 55-year-old Holland resident to the hospital.
Last night Ottawa County Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Lakewood Blvd. and Bay Meadows drive in Park Township.
According to Sgt. J. Douglas of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, the teen whose name is being withheld due to being a juvenile, was driving a 2001 Volkswagon Beetle northbound on Bay Meadows drive and failed to stop at a stop sign.
The juvenile subject pulled out into the path of Ronald Wilson, 55, of Holland who was driving a 2004 Chrysler Sebring and the two vehicles collided.
Wilson was transported to Zeeland Community hospital where he remains in stable condition. The juvenile was treated at the scene, then taken to Holland hospital by family, but was not injured in the crash.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash and both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
The crash remains under investigation.
