HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Holland’s “Eastern Gateway” may become the location of a new home for the West Coast Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber’s current 7,200-square-foot-location was first built in 1972 at the intersection of Eighth and Ninth Street, but soon became outdated.
The private non-profit represents 1,400 businesses in the area, consisting of over 50,000 employees.
Concept drawings of the potential building were presented to commissioners at the planning commission study session on Tuesday.
Chamber President Jane Clark states that the plans for the construction are currently in its preliminary stages, and will be several months before designs are officially.
