HOLLAND (WHTC) – Hope College volleyball standout Jenna Grasmeyer has been named recipient of the MIAA’s Sheila Wallace Kovalchik Award at the league’s most outstanding senior female student-athlete. Grasmeyer, a native of Jenison and graduate of Unity Christian High School in Hudsonville, was a four-time All-MIAA first team selection and a three-time All-American. She was named the Most Outstanding Player at last fall’s NCAA Division III tournament, as she led the Flying Dutch to their first national championship. Grasmeyer was also an Academic All-American, and graduated from Hope last month with a 3.77 grade point average as an exercise science major.
