HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 31, 2022) – Holiday cheer from one of Holland’s cheeriest persons is benefiting the Kids Food Basket.
The Holland Area Visitors Bureau announced last week that over $3,425 was raised by the annual Holiday Greeting Card Benefit to help the regional non-profit that makes sure children in need and their families don’t go hungry. The card is designed by local artist Carolyn Stich, and according to Visitors Bureau Executive Director Linda Hart, this program has raised over $24,000 in the eight years of its existence.
“Her holiday card is so popular and people look for it,” Hart said on “WHTC Morning News” in a recent appearance. “We start the design so early; as soon as the year ends, Carolyn comes over and we go over what we are going to do next year. It’s a really feel-good moment!”
The CVB and Carolyn Stich Studios are accepting suggestions for the 2022 Holiday Greeting Card design.
