Executive Shakeup at Gentex

ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – Gentex Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary Mark Newton resigned from the company and from the Zeeland-based specialty parts maker’s board for “personal reasons” with immediate effect. Steve Downing has been promoted to replace Newton as a Senior Vice President while retaining his Chief Financial Officer’s position, while Scott Ryan is the new Corporate Secretary and Assistant General Counsel. Gentex also promoted Neil Boehm to its Vice President of Engineering.
