HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – On the first full day of summer, spring-like storms are striking the Lakeshore. A wave of strong weather moved through the region during the Noon Hour, with a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for southern and eastern Allegan Counties. Damaging winds, frequent lightning and locally heavy rains are expected as these storm cells move through. Beach hazard cautions for the waters of Lake Michigan are in place through tomorrow morning due to high waves and strong current. This turbulent weather is due to a cold front moving into the region that will bring predicted sunny skies on Tuesday and Wednesday..
