BLENDON TWP., MI (WHTC) – An intersection in Blendon Township was blocked for about six hours today after a peat moss hauler tipped over into a ditch. Fifty-year-old Pero Kljaic from Kitchener, Ontario, sustained no injuries when his semi tipped into a ditch after turning onto 84th Avenue. Witnesses and the driver report that the vehicle’s right two wheels caught the ditch, causing the vehicle to fall in. The peat moss-filled trailer needed to have its cargo removed before the semi can be recovered. The area at Port Sheldon Street, between 80th and 88th avenues, was closed for several hours. The case remains under investigation.
