GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A 15- to 30-year prison sentence was handed down to William Miller, a former part-time youth minister at Catholic parishes in Conklin and Ravenna. A jury found the 62-year-old Conklin man guilty of first-degree criminal sexual conduct for assaults that happened a decade ago. Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids officials say the incidents were not related to his current activities. He resigned from his church duties and from several Ottawa County boards that he was on when the allegations surfaced last November.
