HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Bob Vande Vusse presides for the first time as interim Mayor at tonight’s Holland City Council meeting. The current senior Councilman was elevated from Mayor Pro Tem after Kurt Dykstra resigned in order to become Trinity Christian College’s president. Dykstra should be honored with a Council resolution tonight. Vande Vusse will serve out the final five months of Dykstra’s term until he and fellow council member Nancy DeBoer face each other at the ballot box on November 3rd.
