HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – An apparent case of distracted driving put a 44-year-old Hamilton woman on a Holland Hospital bed with non-life threatening injuries on Wednesday afternoon. Deputies didn’t say what caused Jodi Elhart to not pay attention when her vehicle rear-ended another vehicle ahead of her as she was driving westbound on Riley Street just past US-31 on Holland’s North Side during the Noon Hour. The other driver involved, 20-year-old Kala Eggleston of Zeeland, was not hurt.
