GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – A former civil process server for both Ottawa and Muskegon counties has a November 19th sentencing date. Gary Gaskin pled guilty to federal tax fraud charges stemming from concealing nearly a half million dollars in income. The Spring Lake-based private investigator admitted filing a false return for 2010, while prosecutors will drop fraudulent returns for 2008, 2009 and 2011. Gaskin’s contracts with both counties’ district courts were revoked when these allegations surfaced this past March.
