ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – During tonight’s Zeeland City Council meeting, members will be asked to approve the submission of a Community Development Block Grant application with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation for up to 75 percent funding to upgrade facades on participating downtown properties. According to City Marketing Director Abby deRoo, a dozen property owners have expressed interest in applying as part of the grant program, and hopes to submit this application in about a month.
