7/22 Wednesday: HSRT Children’s Performance Troupe presents “Junie B. Jones – The Musical” at DeWitt Theatre- It’s Junie B.’s first day of first grade and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie’s friend Lucille doesn’t want to be her best pal anymore, and on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher Mr. Scary thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal”, and first grade has never been more exciting. 141 East 12th Street, Holland; 10:30 AM; $15 General Admission.
7/23 Thursday: Documented: THE STORY OF LATIN@S IN HOLLAND / LOS HISTORIAS DE LATIN@S EN HOLLAND at the Holland Museum- Presented by the Museum Youth Leadership Advisory Council (MYLAC), this second annual exhibition examines the large migrant Hispanic community and its impact on Holland throughout history. 31 West 10th Street, Holland; 11 AM- 4PM; Free to members.

7/25 Saturday: Macatawa Water Festival at Windmill Island Gardens- Join Project Clarity and over 30 community partners for the 2015 Macatawa Water Festival at Windmill Island Gardens. Children of all ages will learn about our most precious natural resource, Lake Macatawa and the Macatawa Watershed. The public will be welcomed free of charge to enjoy a day of interactive educational experiences, water and land activities, and fun-filled family time; experiences designed to engage young and old to learn about restoring and preserving our lake and watershed. 7th Street and Lincoln Avenue, Holland; 11:30am-5:00pm; Free.
