Ottawa Co. Fair, Coast Guard Festival Highlight Monday Activities Along Lakeshore

UNDATED (WHTC) – The Marshall Tucker Band may have performed in the Grandstand last night, but the 57^th Ottawa County Fair begins its annual six-day run in earnest this evening with the opening of the Elliott’s Amusements Carnival Midway, along with the Unique Motor Sports Night of Destruction demolition derby in the Grandstand. The Coast Guard Festival continues as Coast Guard ships arrive in the port of Grand Haven, and a “Festival Idol” competition is this evening at Waterfront Stadium. The Ottawa County Fair runs through Saturday; the Coast Guard Festival ends on Sunday.
