HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) – Two young girls, one two years old and the other one month old, were taken to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital for treatment of minor injuries after the vehicle that they were in was involved in a crash in Hudsonville this afternoon. Deputies say that their mother, 27-year-old Laurel Roberts of Hudsonville, tried to turn left from 32nd Avenue onto New Holland Street and instead turned into the path of 37-year-old Keith Prelwitz, also of Hudsonville. The two drivers involved were not hurt. The youths were properly placed in child restraint seats in the back seat of their vehicle at the time of the collision, which remains under investigation.
