HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Holland Friends of Art will be hosting the 43rd Annual Art In The Park arts & crafts fair. The event this year will be on Saturday August 1st from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in Centennial Park.
The exhibitors come from all over Michigan and a few come from several other states. There will be booths in the show for about 300 artists and crafters selling their paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, jewelry, woodworking, baskets, pottery, stained glass, dolls, weavings, and many other items. Several vendors will also have a variety of foods available along Central Avenue during the fair.
Art in the Park raises money for local students’ college scholarships and area art programs. The event draws one of the largest influx of visitors to the city on a single day, second only to Tulip Time.
