HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 25-year-old Holland woman is expected to recover from injuries suffered in a three-vehicle pileup on Monday afternoon. Deputies say that Sharnice Cross rearended a vehicle in a construction-related slowdown along southbound US-31 near 16th Street just east of Holland, and her vehicle was subsequently hit from behind by a third vehicle. She was taken to Holland Hospital for treatment; the other two drivers – 56-year-old Wayne Hokse of Hamilton and 72-year-old James Keller of Ludington – were not hurt. Work on that stretch of roadway is expected to last until mid-August.
